We had a W24Q class BBQ on Thursday (21st feb). People who went are me, verdell, shoufang, erika, ohp, karthik, omar, jonathan, joel, shilesse, ziqi, hanani, jeslyn, jeslyn’s boyfriend. (if i forget to include anyone, sorry =X)
Verdell, shoufang, erika and me signed up for a c.e. activity which is going to the Singapore National Museum in the morning. We brought along those bbq stuff with us because the activity will end at around 1.30pm and our bbq starts at 3pm. The exhibits that we saw were about Singapore’s past and Greek’s legend of Olympic. Both exhibits are interesting and nice, but the worst part was that we had to complete a worksheet.
After the activity end, shoufang said that the lesson learnt was not to go to museum and bbq on the same day because all of our bags are damn heavy. We took a cab down to East Coast Park for convenience and safety reasons in case some of us fainted on the way there, hahax… We were very hungry so we headed to the MacDonald and bought lunch. Joel and shilesse skate into the Mac when we were still eating. Shilesse took out her braces, I still prefer her with braces, LOL (look more like shilesse).
We booked the bbq pit at area D, pit 38. Joel and shilesse said that it was very far, a 15 min walk, so we decided to rent bikes. No one knows how to ride double-bike! (XUETING- my double-bike partner! WHERE ARE YOU!) So in the end, I took a bike with 2 small small small small small training wheels behind. No choice what, if not I have to crawl there. =( Everyone laughed at me! The sales person, friends and people on the road. KNS! They said if with the training wheels, I can still fall down, they got nothing to say, LOL. On the way to bbq pit, I almost fell once. The training wheels so small, but everyone on the road who passes by can see, some more laugh at me. =.= When I am on the road riding the bike, there were a couple of people in front of me, so I ring at them, then verdell was like “you on the wrong lane u still ring at people”. HAHA! Sorry la… =P
After putting all the stuff on the bbq pit, we all called everyone else to ask are they coming soon. Called ohp and ask if he knows how to ride double-bike, and he said YES. Ahhh! Yay! I can throw away the bike with training wheels! He say he will reach in around 5 mins time, so I called the bike shop person to ask if I can exchange it with a double-bike and pay more $, and the person say can. Shoik! Ride back to the shop with verdell and on the way there, shilesse came in opposite direction and scare me and I went immediately inside the bushes and had some cuts on my leg. Saw ohp on the way to exchange the bike, he ride scooter also faster than the bike with training wheels. Went back to exchange the bike, and we tried the bike see if we can ride double-bike or not. In the end, we succeed in riding it. Yay! Say bye-bye to training wheels.
Went a few rounds in double-bike, suddenly remember the days when riding it with xueting and rachel. Me, ohp, verdell and shoufang ride until our ass very pain, LOL. Shoufang said that her ass cracking, HAHAHA!
Ohp, verdell and me went to find water for the orange syrup which is for our drinks. The uncle at the toilet says they sell water, 50 cents for our size of container. But in the end ohp went MacDonald and said that his friend works inside and can get us free water, so good. ^ ^
At around 5pm, more people came and we start to help out in setting up the place. Omar, mario and jeslyn’s boyfriend were the ones who sets up the fire. Some problems arise and in the end, the fire worked at around 8pm, but nevertheless, we had food cooked in the middle of the process. We had sotong balls, crabstick, chicken wings marinated by mario’ mum, corn, potato, satay, marshmallows and etc…
10 + pm, left me, verdell, shoufang, mario, omar, karthik, ohp and joel. We played dog and bone. Mario says that karthik shall be the bone and karthik replied “then u all are the dogs” =.= walao… When coming to playing games, all suddenly become very childish. Haha! Childish and cute la. =) After playing dog-n-bone, we played police-n-thief… The kind of police-n-thief whereby we will write 1, 2, 3, P, T on a piece of paper depending on the number of players and a ‘T’ for thief and ‘P’ for police and numbers represents civilians. Crush the papers and each will choose one. The thief will have to wink at the civilians and the civilians will die. The job of the police is to catch see who is the thief. It was fun! I always get killed by some civilians, stupid mario and joel, wink at me and I thought they are the thieves. Ohp cannot be the police. For the 2 rounds that he is the police, the thief manages to kill every civilians and he did not mange to find out the thief. LOL!
End the whole day at around 11.45pm. Mario and joel go home together because mario drive that day. Omar went home himself in his bike and ohp in his scooter. Karthik, verdell, shoufang and me went home together. We walk to the bus-stop in fast speed, hope that there will still be buses but in the end, 76’s last bus is at 11.30pm. In the end the 4 of us took taxi home and shared the fare. =)
Got a new nickname, ‘treetop’ because they said that my hair look like grass/ leaves. Some more verdell and joel call me to climb on the tree when they were on top because they say I will be camouflage as one of the branch. (can sense jin laughing if she reads my blog, kns)
